Introduction to research training

Everyone providing care in the NHS uses research. The treatments, therapies and technologies we use today have all been developed through clinical research. Everyone in every role in the NHS should have an awareness of clinical research happening around them and feel confident to direct colleagues and patients to more information about research that may be of interest to them.

If you would like to get more involved in planning, designing and delivering clinical research, or making it part of your career, then there are training courses and resources to help you take that next step.
