Allied Health Professionals

Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) make up a third of the UK’s health and social care workforce, with over 65,000 working in the NHS. With skills ranging from emergency care to language therapy and dietary advice, most patients will come into contact with this diverse range of professionals as part of their care.

One of the aims of Research Futures is to provide the support, infrastructure and training to enable more AHPs to include research as part of their careers.
